Jamie Oldaker was Eric Clapton's drummer for many years,
appearing on the recordings of "Lay Down Sally", "Cocaine", "I Shot
the Sheriff" and many others. Jamie went on to become one of the
most famous drummers in the world, working with Peter Frampton,
Willis Alan Ramsey, Iron Maiden, the Tractors, and many others.
Joe and Ellen have worked with Jamie many times, appearing on his
Mad Dogs and Okies album, covering Leon Russell's "A Song for You".
Formed in Little Rock, Arkansas, the Boondogs are a
well-known roots pop band. The groups current drummer,
Dylan Turner, worked with Joe and Ellen around 2002,
appearing on some of our early demos.
